These Terms of Service apply to MotorXcel Auto Repair (“MotorXcel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 735 W Bel Air Ave, Aberdeen, MD 21001, phone 410-425-1100. They cover your use of www.motorxcelservice.com and the services you request from us.
2. Accepting these terms
By using this website, requesting an appointment, or bringing a vehicle to us for service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
3. Using this website
You may use this website to learn about our services, contact us, and request appointments. Please do not misuse the site, try to disrupt it, or submit false information. Website content is general information only. Your vehicle’s actual condition is determined by inspection at the shop.
4. Online booking and appointment requests
An online booking or appointment request is a request only. A date and time is not guaranteed until we confirm it. We may need to contact you to adjust or reschedule.
5. Estimates and authorization
Estimates are based on what we know before or during inspection. The final price may change only with your authorization. Labor and parts are as listed on your repair order.
6. Payment
Payment is due when you pick up your vehicle.
7. Warranty
- Repairs are covered by our 12-month/12,000-mile warranty, as stated on your repair order.
- Tires carry only the tire manufacturer’s warranty. An optional road hazard warranty is available for purchase.
- Parts supplied by the customer are not covered by our warranty.
8. Vehicles left after notice
Please pick up your vehicle promptly after we tell you it is ready. Vehicles left after notice are handled as permitted by Maryland law.
9. Text messages and privacy
Text messages are optional and are covered by our SMS Terms. How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Third-party services and integrations
We use third-party services to run our business, such as accounting (for example, QuickBooks), shop management, payments, and scheduling. We use these services only to run MotorXcel, and any personal information they handle is treated as described in our Privacy Policy. MotorXcel’s internal tools may connect to MotorXcel’s own accounting and shop systems (QuickBooks Online and Tekmetric). We do not sell customer data.
11. Disclaimers
This website and its content are provided “as is.” We work to keep information accurate, but we do not guarantee that the website is always available, complete, or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MotorXcel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Maryland law or your repair order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date.
